Ricardo Davila
Senior Vice President
Bio: Ricardo Davila is Senior Vice President of the International team, based out of our Miami, FL office. Ricardo provides valuable insight and facilitates strategic solutions for clients who are navigating the complexities of cross-border operations and international projects. Ricardo is a Civil Engineer with 18+ years of experience in the construction industry focused in international and large projects experience. Ricardo has participated in the development and construction of multi-million-dollar public-private partnership (PPP) projects and in the construction of major infrastructure projects in different countries including but not limited to Spain, Colombia, South Africa, Ireland, and the United States. Prior to joining American Global, Ricardo worked as Business Development Manager in the United States and in Colombia for Dragados S.A. His work included responsibilities in the development and implementation of the country/area’s strategies; establishment of the brand, coordination and permanent follow up of relations with public sector administrators; management of proposal/tender teams to develop project controls and budgets; reviews and negotiations of contracts with public administrations; definition of construction means and methods; coordination and integration of engineering disciplines during tender process and an overall management of the pre-construction services.
Ricardo is a graduate of the Colombian School of Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and holds a Master’s in Construction Economy and Specialty from the Polytechnic University in Valencia, Spain. Ricardo is also bilingual (English/Spanish).
Luigi Senis
Managing Director
Bio: Luigi Senis is the Managing Director of American Global’s Italian operations. Luigi joined American Global from Condotte D’Acqua Spa, where he was the Group Risk and Insurance Director. Luigi has participated in providing coverage for Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects and large infrastructure projects around the world. Luigi brings his extensive experience in construction risk management and multinational programs to lead the team in Italy. Luigi has a finance academic background and has spent the last 15 years in the construction industry focusing on the insurance requirements for local and international projects.
Luigi is a graduate of the LUISS University in Rome and holds an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan. Luigi is also a licensed as Insurance Broker in Italy and in the European Community.
Alessandro Zeppilli
Account Manager
Bio: Alessandro Zeppilli is an account manager at American Global, based in Italy, specializing in builder's risk coverage for public-private partnership (PPP) and large infrastructure projects. In his role, Alessandro advises clients on tailored insurance strategies that align with project-specific risks and budget considerations while monitoring market developments to ensure clients benefit from evolving policy structures and coverage solutions.
With more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry, he has developed strong expertise in risk management and insurance solutions for complex projects both in Italy and internationally. Prior to joining American Global, Alessandro worked at Condotte D’Acqua S.p.A. as an insurance and claims specialist, where he analyzed construction projects to estimate insurance costs, structured coverage programs, and collaborated closely with project managers and engineers to mitigate operational risks.
He also managed complex claims processes, coordinating with insurers and loss adjusters, and played a key role in resolving a €10 million claim related to the MOSE project in Venice.
Emily Fruttero
Account Executive
Bio: Emily Fruttero serves as an account executive with American Global’s European operations, based in Rome, Italy. In this role, she builds strong client relationships while providing advisory support aligned with each client’s business objectives and project needs. Emily assists with contract reviews, prepares proposals, identifies appropriate program structures and markets, and supports strategy development for bonding programs.
With more than 15 years of experience in the surety industry, she brings strong technical expertise in underwriting and claims as well as extensive experience managing complex risk placements. Emily works closely with clients and bond markets across Europe, Latin America, and the United States, supporting the successful placement of international surety programs.
Prior to joining American Global, she gained significant reinsurance and technical experience while working at Munich Re in Milan. Earlier in her career, Emily spent more than eight years at a specialized brokerage firm where she first developed her expertise in surety, with a focus on the construction industry.
Maura Rocchetti
Account Manager
Bio: Maura Rocchetti has been an Insurance Account Manager at American Global Italy since September 2022. She currently serves as the primary point of contact for Italian clients in the Surety sector: she handles the technical evaluation of requests, the collection of documentation, and the identification of the most suitable insurers for each specific need, ensuring a comprehensive and tailored consulting service. She has applied her expertise to the development and optimization of internal processes and IT systems, the management of mandates with insurers, and her own client portfolio.
A professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector, she began her career in 2010 at a Surety MGA in Rome, holding various roles within the company and developing cross-functional skills: from accounting to the management of contract extensions, to the evaluation, preparation, and underwriting of surety bonds, eventually advancing to the role of personal assistant to the Sole Director, combining organizational activities with business development, with responsibility for acquiring and managing Italian clients, particularly in the construction and services sectors.
From 2014 to 2022, she served as Executive Account Manager, handling surety and insurance requests for major clients while consolidating her technical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Sara Ascione
Account Associate
Bio: Sara Ascione serves as a surety account associate with American Global’s European operations, based in Rome, Italy. In her role, she supports the operational and administrative activities related to client management and surety bond processes, while also assisting in the preparation of proposals and presentations. She is responsible for monitoring client tenders, maintaining and updating the company database, and managing internal documentation, helping ensure accuracy and efficiency across the team.
Sara has a strong academic background in cultural heritage and a particular interest in Rome’s artistic and architectural history. Her experience combines a creative foundation with developing administrative expertise.
